I’ve been ill all over Christmas with whatever the bug is that’s going round, so have all my family, and most of my friends.Still enjoyed myself tho, had some excellent presents, just hope that people were as happy with what I got them.Best ones included a CD that was made for me, an MP3 player, and a voucher towards a tattoo.
Went back to Wales for a few days, enjoyed seeing people again, and of all the people who I saw who had dogs, I only just realised all their names begin with a J, my sister’s dog Jasper, John and Marys dog ( 10 week old needle sharp teeth ) Jack, and Liz and Nigels dog Juno. ( Well, there are also Forest and Fen, but I never got to see them )
Quite looking forward to next year, I’m all tooled up and ready to go with things, it’s like spring cleaning but not, clearing out stuff to make way for new stuff, being excited about changes is so much better than moping round.
Anyway, enough babbling, have a good new year, and a good rest of the year too.
more work for me..

Happy Christmas and New Year, or whatever holiday you celebrate.
Got both my new contact lenses now ( only took three weeks…one of them was the wrong strength, so it had to go back and be changed), also, woohoo!! bought a van for myself, black, of course, as an ex- or even almost-ex-goth, what other colour could there be?Yeah, I know, hardly the best basis for choosing a van, but it runs, and it seems ok so far.
Not got any new paintings on the go at moment, still have to go buy wood and make some stretchers, painting on old paintings is all well and good, but some of the stretchers are a bit of a mess, so it’s easier, and better, to make new ones. And that way, they end up the size I want.I’m so picky eh? ![]()
So, have a good holiday, and have fun.I will.
Happy Birthday to me…
Monday, December 8, 2003
Well, tomorrow anyway….I really like birthdays ( and Christmas too, not for presents, just because..although I’m not a fan of all the bloody stress that goes with it usually ), I’m not worried about getting older or stuff like that, and I don’t even need an excuse to go down the pub, which reminds me, I actually won a pool game last night, and today have to pick up new contact lenses so I can actually see the world clearly instead of blurrily ( is that a word? ). That might help with the painting, or it just might scare me to death when I see all the stuff I usually don’t.
